STRIKER Rory Loy has commited himself to Rangers by signing a new two-year contract.

The highly-rated starlet, who turns 21 later this month, is currently on loan at Dunfermline but has secured his Ibrox future by agreeing a deal until summer 2011.

Loy made his full debut for Rangers in November, coming on a second-half substitute for Kenny Miller in the 5-0 win over Inverness.

The following month he joined the Pars to gain first-team experience, in the First Division and his form since moving to East End Park has impressed the Ibrox management team of Walter Smith and Ally McCoist.

The Dumfries-born frontman was named Man of the Match in the Homecoming Scottish Cup fifth round replay against Airdrie United a fortnight ago and has scored two goals in five league starts for Dunfermline.

Good stuff... :rfc:

RESERVE stars Rory Loy and Andrew Little have both signed contract extensions that will keep them at Rangers until May 2011.

Andrew Little celebrates his goalLoy, who turns 21 on March 19, is currently on loan at Dunfermline Athletic and has already made his first-team debut for the Gers when he went on for Kenny Miller in the 5-0 win over Inverness in November.

The former Killie foward joined the Pars in December to gain first-team experience and has made eleven starts appearances for the club, four from the bench, and bagged two goals.

Let's hope there's a couple more gems following in Fleck's footsteps in the near future. We're going to need them with a smaller first-team squad next year. Would like to see Shinnie, Efrem and Furman get a chance.

Noticed Furman scored the winner for Bradford last night. Thought that I read somewhere that this is a deal that Bradford are looking to make permenant (sp)???
