calscot 0
Can't see a swap with Wilson for Hutton as the former is unproven and Hutton cost them 8M so far. MacGregor AND Wilson would be more believable but still stretching it a bit. And I still can't see how our old right back would fit into the new wage structure. Also can't see us selling Bougherra for 3.5M when he fits in great and cost us 2.5M. It's not worth losing our best player for 1M profit. He's probably irreplaceable for that money especially with Weir and Dailly off, and also he's on a reasonable wage I think. I would assume Boyd would still be 3.5M instead of the inflated 4.5M especially as it's his wage demands that collapsed the deal - so I'd even expect the price to be lower next time. I don't think Ferguson can fetch us much more than about 800k.

Would be lucky to get Ã?£700K for McCulloch. Would be looking for more than Ã?£3.5m for Bougherra Can't imagine Birmingham would be back in for Boyd if they make the EPL for a number of reasons. Swapping a full internationalist worth Ã?£8m for a youngster who has yet to play for the first team?

Ian, that website is quite possibly THE WORST transfers rumour website EVER. I have seen transfer rumours on there about players moving who had already signed for someone else days before. All of the above - take with LARGE pinch of salt !!

Super_Ally 0
Strong rumours we've nearly tied up a deal to take one of Manchester United's other young Brazilian's on loan. Possebon this time. Might be BS, just giving you a heads up.
ascender 352
Strong rumours we've nearly tied up a deal to take one of Manchester United's other young Brazilian's on loan. Possebon this time. Might be BS, just giving you a heads up. I was reading that earlier, but what's the point? We never use loan signings to their full potential, so why would we bother again? I'm disappointed that WS hasn't made more use of his relationship with Ferguson to try and get some United youngsters on loan. I guess in the summer we might free up some money for transfers by getting in token fees for players and getting them off the wage bill. But I'd expect us to be spending under 1M each on individuals which might mean WS picks up a few from within the SPL. My reservation about that is the same as the loan one as we all know what's happened to guys like Gow & Aaron for example.
ian1964 10,780
Rangers are weighing up a sensational summer swoop that would see former Scotland under 21 star Stephen Hughes return to Ibrox. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/96310/Gers-eye-up-swoop-for-former-boy-Hughs-
