I remember an AGM, perhaps mid 90s, where a woman stood up and criticised Mrray for slagging off Ogilvie (in a private conversation which she had overheard. Must have been embarassing as both were siting at the top table. I don't know whether Ogilvie was a yes man, but he was obviously old-school and not brought in by Murray which would have gone agaisnt him. Difficult to say whether it was Bain or Murray who ultimately got rid of him as some of Ogilvie's responsibilities would have been taken by Bain when he became CEO, and perhaps there was a case that they genuinely felt he wasn't needed.
