I get slated for not rating boyd and get called anti Boyd yet the abuse Miller gets is way above what i say about Boyd. At least I stick to the football side of things.

 

And Im not saying I rate Miller highly, i think he is going through a bad patch at the moment but he isnt overall useless.

Miller deserves more abuse than Boyd. I dont think that is disputable either.

 

You are entitled to give Boyd a hard time but if you think he deserves more of a slating than Miller then the rest of us need to simply avoid debating these two players with you Gribz.

 

You are giving Boyd a hard time, fair enough, but Miller has not scored in 9 games, yes NINE games and, as a striker at a club like Rangers, that isnt good enough. He isnt even contributing. Actually, he is contributing LESS than Boyd which is hard to believe. He needs to be dropped.

 

If the club needs 3 million then I can't actually think of a better player to collect it from than a 2 mill fee for Miller plus his wages. As said, he offers no more than Novo does - actually, he offers less. Novo is pacier, more direct, more of a goal threat, hounds defenders more and generally makes himself a pain in the arse more than Miller.

 

Admittedly, your post doesnt state that Boyd deserves more abuse than Miller - just that people give him a harder time than you give Boyd.

Gribz, Boyd scores, Miller doesn't! He may have more workrate and assits but as a striker he is not scoring. And the criticism you give Boyd is probably on a par with what the board thinks of Miller (on a football issue, no other side shite)

If you're taking ridiculous stances on certain issues, not representative in any way of the evidence available to you i'm not sure you really should be allowed to air your opinion.

 

I could sit here and argue the sky is green. Doesn't mean people should have to sit there and listen to me talking shite though does it.

 

To make my general ranting over the past 24 hours or so clearer I am not saying Boyd is above criticism or that his game cannot be improved. However OTT abuse of one of our most influential players (in terms of winning matches) and now denying his goalscoring prowess is an absolute nonsense.

I agree with you as far as Boyd is concerned but the last thing we want is any form of censorship.

 

People have to be allowed to make arses of themselves. How else would we know them?

There wont be any censorship and even if there was, wouldn't be my place to be doing the censoring.

 

Just tired of people who have such an ingrained hatred of a player, and a Rangers player at that not a Celtic player, that they refuse to give them any kind of credit at all too the extent of their opinions looking rather foolish.

 

I don't see there can be any kind of positive result of debate with people like that.
