Ross County have signed former Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager Craig Brewster as a player-coach until the end of the season.

 

The 42-year-old, who was sacked by Inverness last month, impressed while training with the First Division club.

 

County head coach Derek Adams said: "Craig has shown this week that he still has plenty to offer on the park.

 

"His knowledge of the game and dedication to fitness can only strengthen our coaching set-up."

 

Brewster was in his second spell at Inverness when he parted company with the Highlands outfit with the club languishing at the foot of the Scottish Premier League table.

 

The former Dundee United manager last played a first-team game in September 2007 before a shoulder problem looked to have ended his playing career.

 

Its about his 30th comeback after being manager. Its like he is a player then a manager, player then manager, player....
