Zappa 0 Posted February 5, 2009 Share Posted February 5, 2009 I doubt that Walter Smith was intentionally being patronising to anyone, but it's typical that certain people would as usual take his comments to the questions put to him & twist them in such a way. It seems to me that what he said was pretty much just stating the obvious since of course a glamorous friendly with AC Milan is going to wet the appetite for European football. Maybe he needn't have stated the obvious, but as usual a mountain is no doubt being made over a simple answer to a simple question.
