Bolton boss Megson sent chief scout Colin Harvey to check on Ferguson in Rangers' clash with Dundee United yesterday. The Trotters hope the Scotland and Gers skipper, 30, can be bought for a cut-price �£2million as Rangers look to ease their wage bill. We have enough in midfield to cover this surely but more likely to have McCulloch and Dailly in there rather that the likes of Furman and Fleck. Has Hemdani not gone yet? We'll have no Ferguson getting a game on reputation and he wouldnt be moaning to teammates for his own errors. Gazza_8 233 Posted February 1, 2009 Share Posted February 1, 2009 Timing isn't great as if we did sell Fergie, which, in my opinion we should at the end of the season, we'd only have Pedro and Davis to fill the two central midfield spots with Thommo being out for some considerable time. I can't see WS bringing any replacements in so we'd be left with heed the baw McCulloch, Hemdani who has no interest in playing for us now, Edu who isn't looking to be upto much and the Holy Newspaper as cover.
