Hearts knockback 2m for Berra.

Ross McCormack was released by Rangers.......Motherwell received £120,000 from Cardiff for him because his contract was expiring.

McCormack's settled down and concentrating on his game....he liked the party lifestyle to much at Rangers and it took its toll....he seems quite focused now on his game and played really well against Arsenal on Sunday as well.

Fair do's? But if we'd got a return of £120k on a guy who's scored a CL goal against Porto, perhaps our finances wouldn;t look so bleak (obviously extrapolating this over all transfers).

But then perhaps that's the point. It's not bringing youngsters on and moving on the one's who aren't quite good enough, but Bain's negotiating skills (yet again) that's the problem.

Look at Man U and guys like Eagles who don;t make it at Man U but are sold for a reasonable fee. If we did this our youth set up could pay for itself whilst we retain the Fergies, Flecks and McGregors.

You could say Coyle was laughing all the way to the bank getting Eagles for 2m and getting 3.25m in for Lafferty.

I think personally were to quick to reward these boys who burst on to the scene with big money deals....Adam being a prime example. We then struggle to move them on when they dont actually make the grade because of these wages.

Again as you say that could be down to the 600k a year CEO skills.
