Gribz 919
How does this bet work again? Do you add these amount of points onto everyones real tally and the end, but the team you have selected still has to be on top of everyone for a pay out??? Handicap bettingSelection Odds Manchester Utd (Scratch) 33/1 Chelsea (+2) 100/1 Arsenal (+8) 100/1 Liverpool (+9) 16/1 Tottenham (+20) 300/1 Aston Villa (+26) 6/5 Everton (+26) 33/1 Manchester City (+28) 200/1 Newcastle (+30) 250/1 Portsmouth (+30) 250/1 West Ham (+36) 100/1 Blackburn (+38) 150/1 Middlesbrough (+38) 250/1 Sunderland (+40) 125/1 Fulham (+41) 12/1 Bolton (+44) 33/1 West Bromwich Albion (+44) 150/1 Wigan (+44) 9/4 Hull (+50) 9/2 Stoke (+50) 28/1 Each-way bets 1/3 odds first 2
craig 5,199
How does this bet work again? Do you add these amount of points onto everyones real tally and the end, but the team you have selected still has to be on top of everyone for a pay out??? Yes, that is correct. So if your team gets +8 they have to have more points after their +8 than any other team. Eg you take Arsenal +8 and they end up with 86pts. The league winners (Man U) end up with 92pts. Arsenal top them as they have (including their +8) 94pts. However, Hull finish with 45pts and you then add their +50 to get to 95pts. Your bet is down because even though you beat the eventual league winners Hull "win" the league. That is the way this bet works - you are betting that your team will "win" the league after every team has had their "+" points added.

Gribz 919
Cheers Craig, seems a tough bet to win then. The bookies giving Hull 50 points is a bit generous. Ok they are in free fall at the moment but if they find there form again they will climb. Villa on 26 is good but 6/5 is low odds.

You can tell how the bet works when you look at all the odds. No bookie would give you those odds on most of those teams if the only team they have to beat are the league winners. Villa is a very good bet IMO with 26 pts but I agree, 6/5 are not odds you want to take. So too are Hull !
