Guest FollowThe People
Dropped to the Shalke reserves after a fall out with Rutten. His contract runs out in the summer i believe. Should we? Would we? Can we afford his wages Personally i don't want him back. I'd have him back but only if played through the middle. He has never been a wide player and indeed only when he arrived at Ibrox did they attempt to tranform him into one, it never worked. Two things he can do well, run and finish. Play him through the centre, play through balls for him and the defenders to chase and there will only be one winner.
DJBlue72 0
I Would take him back tomorrow , i really liked him and we have not replaced him , he got a rough ride from a lot of fans but a lot of it was unjustified. The tims hated and feared him and he was class in Champions League games i know there is a lot of Lovenkrands hater's in our support and thats fair enough but i am a suporter and would welcome him back to Ibrox if it did happen.
gavin3084 0
I would take him back. we dont have anyone with his pace who can run at defenders and get his fair share of goals. i know it only seemed he played well when his contract was coming to an end but after a spell in the bundesliga he may come back a better all round player. even if we gave him a 1 year deal to see how he settled back in if there is no fee for him take the gamble!
johnnyk 158
No no no, he would only get played out of position anyway He has not got any better and virtually done nothing in Germany so why would we take him back on high wages? He is also another who does not fight for the jersey when needed and these are the types of players we need just now.
maineflyer 0
Ffs guys, can't we find a future without continually dragging the past along like some sort of wart. Sometimes it seems we're obsessed with ex-players. Anyone would think we lack confidence in the future.

Unless Brian Laudrup gets fitted with monkey glands, let's view ex-players for what they are - EX players.
craig 5,199
Lovenkrands has now been dropped to Schalke reserves for the rest of the season......
ascender 352
Why would anyone want him back after he left us to go elsewhere for more money despite constantly proclaiming his love for the club and fans. He had his chance, so why would we bail him out now? Besides, by the look of things we couldn't afford his wages anyway.
