ian1964 10,720
CRAIG THOMSON has been named as the referee for the crucial Old Firm game at Ibrox on December 27. The whistler - who has recently gone part-time in his job as a lawyer to help him concentrate more on refereeing - has plenty of experience in the fixture now and is regarded as the best whistler in the country. Thomson's last Old Firm outing was Celtic's 3-2 win at home in April.
Bluedell 5,612
I understand he is contemplating a move down south to further his refereeing career. A McDonald off-side goal in that last game, and wasn't their penalty for a foul outside the box? I also remember an assault on Ferguson. Let's hope he's a wee bit better on the 27th.
