Was just watching the highlights (or should that be lowlights ??) - Villareal ended up with 8 players - Forlan being the 3rd of 3 sent off - he was sent off for hitting one of the Maribor players.... just not sure if he was sent off for his 1st, 2nd or 3rd hit at the guy !!! Hopefully it will find its way on there though - Forlan literally chased the guy to have ANOTHER shot at him - seemed like he wasn't happy with his first couple of efforts so he wanted a real connection. If you think us beating them 6-1 on aggregate as "nearly" putting us out you'd be almost right! It was 2001 in the 2nd qualifier of the CL under DA. We then lost to Fenerbache in the 3rd round and went into the UEFA where we beat Anzhi Makhachkala in Warsaw due to the Chechnyan troubles, then Dinamo Moscow, and then put out PSG on penalties after both teams failed to score after 3.5 hours of football.
