Gribz 846
The laugh of the Durrant / Simpson thing is, Durrant still went onto have a much better career after that while that tackle practically ended Simpsons playing days. But If i ever needed to see a comment to prove that Aberdeen fans are living in past days then this one is it...An event that happened over 20 years ago! Half of the sheep support who sing that probably werent born or cant even remember the tackle. I barely remember it.

Bluedell 5,614
I wish I didnt remember it - remember it all too well sadly. Me too. I was at the game. Gribz, I'd disagree. I don't think Durrant ever reached his pre-injury form or potential.

Unfortunately he never hit the heights of forgone years again. He would probably had a better chance these days as medical techniques are far more advanced these days.

Dont get me wrong i didnt say he went onto be a better player, but he still had a better future than Simpson after that
Bluedell 5,614
Dont get me wrong i didnt say he went onto be a better player, but he still had a better future than Simpson after that True, but Simpson's career was already on the decline, mainly due to injuries. Some people have claimed that it was caused by Ferguson overusing him in his earlier career.
