pete 2,499
The English have Charlton The Irish George Best The Welsh have big Davis You'll all ken the rest Let the French win the Derby Let the Yanks have the moon But give me the Rangers The pride o' the toon They're the idols of Scotland And each game they play They try and they fight Till the end of the day When victory's theirs In our hearts they will bring This chorus I hope You will help me to sing It's Rangers, it's Rangers, It's Rangers for me If you're no' a Ranger Yer no use to me The Hibs and the Hearts And the Thistle are proud But they don't beat the Rangers The pride o' them aw From the banks of the wa'bash To the sweet Zuider Zee! From home on the range Up to Bonny Dundee" Just sing them this chorus And soon they'll agree It's Rangers it's Rangers it's Rangers for me It's Rangers, it's Rangers, It's Rangers for me If you're no' a Ranger Yer no use to me The Hibs and the Hearts And the Thistle are proud But they don't beat the Rangers The pride o' them aw So here's to the lads in the Royal Blue And here's to the lassies who follow them too I don't want the Hibs, the Hearts or the Celts I wish them the best(aye, right!) but I'll never forget It's Rangers, it's Rangers, it's Rangers for me

carldvelle 0
Yes the twirling is a hearts thing I remember them doing it on the terraces years ago,and Rangers fans always held the scarves aloft,i think we starting twirling to be different to celtic fans doing the same to the Liverpool song.I also remember when most fans sung walk on except Rangers who as far as I know have never sung walk on.
carldvelle 0
Another i remember from the terraces, Singing i am a billy,no a tim singing i am a billy ,no a tim signing i am a billy Am no sa effin silly I am a billy no a tim. I think we were more inventive with songs and chant in the old days, Another good one was after a crap match or defeat,we would chant We want oor money back we want oor money back. Ahh,the old days to be jostled and pushed ,avoiding incoming missiles, wading through pools of stale beer and urine.
CammyF 7,988
Remember singing at the start of every season and at kick off at any final we were lucky enough to reach in the early 80's 'Don't Let Us Down Again'... Also, used to love singing 'and it's Glasgow Rangers, Glasgow Rangers FC, there by far the greatest team the world has every seen'... And who could forget the 'Bobby Russell, Bobby Bobby Russell' chant Cammy F
carldvelle 0
As we approach the festive season, this one was sung to the tune of Noel Noel. Parlane. Parlane, Parlane,Parlane Born is the king of Ibrox Park. Could be updated, who would be the king of Ibrox Park nowadays, Boydy Boydy, perhaps. We used to sing Dollys Braes a lot havent heard it in years

pete 2,499
I'd rather be a darkie than a tim. Oh i'd rather be a darkie than a tim Oh i'd rather be a darkie a Paddy Malarki(SP) I'd rather be a darkie than a tim. And then when some young woman would walk round the track the crowd would sing : get it up ye while your young, Get it up ye while yer young. Probably overboard these days but was good banter in the old days.
