What made it worse was that Adebayor had his foot planted when Shawcross got his ankle. I reckon there's a few players out there (Keane to name one) who'd go out with the intention to injure a fellow player. Hate is maybe a little strong word, I would just rather whoever they are playing (unless in Europe) wins. Jon 0 Posted November 5, 2008 Share Posted November 5, 2008 I haven't seen the game so only going by comments here and grom what I have read but I stand by the fact I think a manager is wrong to come out with those comments especially when he never condems the action of his players (going back a few seasons fair enough) Re the Gerrard goal, there will always be discussions and opinions as to if it's right a player making the most of soft contact.
