Bluedell 5,614
Disagree BD... Obviously playing the X-Factor tune was a bit crass but generally I think the club deserve a bit of credit for inviting the troops and I enjoyed the event. The lads were sitting just in front of us in BF and they had a great time. Just as emotional before the game was when they were applauded and cheered into the WRC for a few drinks. The club should gain from a bit of positive PR from this. It will be interesting to see how the media spin it. Yes, the club deserve credit for it, nd I'm sure the soldiers had a very well-deserved great time. However that doesn't take away from the fact that they deliberately tried to stifle the crowd when the soldiers were on the park. I didn't have the opportunity to see them in the stand or the WRC, and I felt it was a letdown for me.

People shaking their hands, wanting their pictures taken with them and generally just wanting to show the troops how grateful we are. Yesterday will live in their minds for a long, long time and deservedly so.
otis 0
They got a great reception from the fans yesterday and looked as if they were loving every minute of it. Well done Rangers and all involved.
