The Liga champions are in talks with Juve and are hoping to clinch the double swoop by the beginning of next week. "Conversations are well advanced but until everything is signed it is best to wait," said sports director Txiki Begiristain. "We are very optimistic and confident we can settle the operation before Monday." Spanish sources have suggested that World Cup winner Zambrotta will join for ââ??¬19 million (Ã?£13 million), while fellow defender Thuram is set to be offered an initial one-year contract. Following Juve's relegation to Serie B their squad is already dismantling, with Fabio Cannavaro and Emerson on their way to Real Madrid. Zambrotta was quickly linked with both Milan and Chelsea, but Barca have emerged as surprise frontrunners as they look to strengthen an already formidable line-up. Ã?£13m seems a bit excessive to me, he's a great player but i think they could get him cheaper.
