But back on point and as Gisabeer says, id rather see Fleck and Aaron play

 

I totally agree on Fergie, but knowing Walter, he will probably walk back into the team.

If Fergie could do with Mendes like he did with de Boer then that would be a great pairing. The other scenario is he stands on Mendes's toes to get the ball off him like he did to hemdani. Only time will tell.

I'm thinking he'll stand on the ball looking a bit lost (as he does so often) & not play the game Mendes would like. If Mendes doesn't play BF's game the way he wants there could be an issue, but if they link up well consistently we're on to a winner. Fingers crossed eh.

Yes the issue will be, does Barry bend to fit Mendes or will he force Mendes to suit him. or could they possibly be a match in heaven. The only 4-4-2 scenario will be the diamond shape. 4-5-1 opens more options.
