Frankie 8,552
BTW, I've forwarded the full report to all relevant parties, such as the Scottish Executive, the SIF Working Group and all my media contacts. It will be interesting to see who (if any!) reply to the document.

Frankie 8,552
Any updates that you can tell us about? Nothing as yet. But the current affairs of the last day or two may help in that regard. Of course, objective, constructive contributions to the debate such as the report above are often ignored in favour of more controversial red herrings to detract from the relevant points.
pete 2,499
Excellent piece of work Frankie. It would be great if you did get a reply but i would not hold my breath while waiting. Unfortunately many work-groups in every walk of life start with a barrage of promises until they really come up against the real problems. A mountain always looks easy to climb from a distance it is once you get to the base that the difficulties appear. I will say though that this was never going to be an overnight fix and looking at the short picture things may seem stagnant. It will be over the long term that any true result can be measured. Bad communication with the people who you are trying to convince comes over as beating the said supporters into submission, which could in many cases have a reverse working. All parties have to be willing to work together to see any great improvement.
Zappa 0
Great point UCF... Instead of blaming internet forums for exacerbating the problem, the medium should be used to solve it. The irony is delicious. Mmmmm Good point ...and a great article Frankie!! Hopefully articles like yours will make the right people think twice & wonder who fingers should really be pointed at in the current climate.
