Jon 0
Inside 3 mins and Gallas misses a sitter from 2 yards. I missed the penalty shout they had so no idea about that until half time. Was hoping Newcastle might take something from this but not so sure. Edit: Just seen the replay of the penalty shout, could EASILY have been given......
Whosthedado 1,703
2-0 to Arsenal now and could have been a lot more. Newcastle only created one chance and Owen managed to hit off one of his team mates!
Jon 0
Aye, Newcastle havent been allowed to play. The speed and movement from most of Arsenal has been really impressive though. Only ones I havent rated were mainly Denilson and think Nasri is a little quiet. Hard to criticise them the way they playing though

Jon 0
If Arsenal play like that every week they will cruise the league, they were superb again. Forgive my negativity (an I know I'll get slagged by a few) BUT, they haven't met a team of quality yet, and Fulham beat them last weak, so maybe a little early for that. Even the pundits were saying so during the game/or at half time/full time. No arguing they were excellent today and Newcastle barely got a look in, they have a relatively easy next 4 or 5 games so SHOULD be able to make a cusion for themselves while the others play the 'better' teams in the league. On that for, every week, they should be very close to winning the league. Last week was a total contrast though so I'll settle for time will tell. All in all, a great game to watch. See I can be nice (ish) about Arsenal
Gribz 919
Newcastle have a bit of quality and drew at Old Trafford on day 1. Arsenal tore them apart like they were the Newcastle of old. But thats why i said IF they play like that coz its only 1 game. I think the Fulham game was a great kick up the backside that they needed. My only worry is they still need a bit of steel in the midfield to help them win games. When they go a goal up against Man Utd and Chelsea like last season (and were the better side) then those 2 teams will hit back at them and Arsenals only defence will be to play good football rather than stick solid tackles in. Arsenal have enough depth of flair/young talent in the squad but its experience and steel they need to get them through some games. If they get Alonso or Barry (which are the current rumours) then that would great signings but the player they really need is Rino Gattuso.

Yeah he has reached 200. He's 21 now, made his debut when 16, cant believe he how fast time goes, i remember him playing at 17 like it was about 5 months ago.
