alexscottislegend 2,306
couldnt handle the fame, much in the way that gascoigne couldnt. ended up in a cafe in sunderland standing on a table with his cock out pissing infront of the customers proclaiming "do you know who i am". Rangers got rid of him as he wasnt fitting in to the Rangers standard off the park. He may have been Rangers class on the park, but not off it. And in those days you really had to adhere to the Rangers way of life. We had a discusion a few months ago about what rangers class really meant. Baxter is a good example off what wasnt, no matter how good a player he was. I also remember a rumour about him and Pat Crerand's sister which didn't go down too well with the establishment at Ibrox.
