Cuellar Fee Agreed with Villa - £8million

Recommended Posts

Was the release value decided, when he originally signed or did he get a new deal at some point with it changing then? If the latter then why was it set at such a low value for the best centre half since Gough?

Almost certainly would have been decided when he signed. Probably one the reasons he did sign.

2. Villa want £3million for Maloney and I believe he's on record as saying he doesn't want to play for Rangers.

This is a massive blessing in disguise if true. What is the management team trying to do? Smash the backbone and spirit of Rangers fans, cos he's going the right fuckin way about it.

Does anyone honestly think big Carlos would have left - for Villa!!! - if we were still in with a chance of Champions league football??

I think not.

Bloody Hamilton looked a better bet to win the league more than us last night as well.

Just heard something interesting that maybe someone can clear up. ENIC PLC have 20% of shares in our beloved club. ENIC is owned by Daniel Levy. Well apparently he "Loaned" the club £40 Million and now he wants it back. That is aparently where all our money is going and once he is repaid SDM is out.......

RANGERS' fans today called on Sir David Murray to stick to his word - and spend every penny of the £8million sale of Carlos Cuellar to Aston Villa.

IMO we should be putting across a view that the fans are effin livid about this and the reasons why he decided to leave. I know its got to be all PC and that, but im fed up with this whole fucked up situation we are in.

Not true...

SDM bought the ENIC shares for £8.7million in 2004 and he now owns 91.8% of the club.

Is it not true however that ENIC get a portion of our Euro revenue up to season 2009/2010 or there abouts as part of the deal that saw Murray buy out ENIC's shares?

why would the bringing in of a talented young footballer who is exactley what we need in terms of an attacking midfielder who can play in any forward position smash the backbone and spirit of the club?
