Murray makes clearest hint yet that club is for sale...

Cammy i have stated before that it is modern management to contract companies to do the likes of catering so as not to have staff on your books that could end up being a financial noose around your neck. I am sure the 14 mill profit is not all taken from Ibrox so it is a bit unfair to say we have lost that amount of money. For Rangers to employ staff, managers, purchasers, accountants etc, for the few pies and hamburgers that they sell every second week would be bad business in my opinion.

Pete, if Murray had kept Azure as 'part of Rangers' and allowed it to expand as it is currently doing - no reason not to - then that £14M pounds profit would be ours. Azure manages to sell a few pies and hamburgers every other week, employ staff, managers, purchasers, accountants etc, and still rake in £14M profit. Rangers have staff, managers, purchasers, accountants etc, that work over all 'businesses'.....

Is it possible to sell land worth say a million for one pound? Would inland revinue not have something to say about that?

Obviously it is, as Murray sold The Albion to his son for that sum and GCC sold the area around Parkhead, displacing residents etc for the same sum.

Re the Inland Revenue and the land sale thing the Revenue WILL take an interest in it but it is still legal.

What is likely is that the Revenue would asses DM on the true value of the land and not the amount he sold it for.

As for the catering side it is a double edged sword. Catering is not, and never should be IMO, a core business of Rangers so shouldn't be in the Rangers group of businesses. Surely we must be making royalties on the catering side of things anyway - not as much as 14 mill but surely a reasonable amount ?
