Gribz 989
I think you have got pretty much every player spot on Frankie, there wasnt really one I could argue against. Maybe Adam could be in the same boat as Burke but thats about it. We certainly do need better options in midfield and upfront. And next season will be a big one for Barry Ferguson. Im pretty sure one of Kris Boyds MOTM would have been against Aberdeen for the 3-0 win at ibrox. BTW no report on Faye??
Bluedell 5,793
Please ignore some of the spelling/grammatical errors... I was a bit quick to publish that before proof-reading... See what happens when you sack your usual proof reader.
Bluedell 5,793
ATTACKChris Burke - 4 (0 MoM Awards) The enigmatic Scotsman continued to fail to genuinely impress in season 2007/2008. The usual fleeting glimpses of something special were again kept in check by a lack of self-confidence, work-rate and final ball when he did play. His usual proneness to injury and general lack of contribution means the time is finally up for a player who we all wanted to make the grade. Unfortunately he won’t. Burke had a spell of 5 or 6 games in a row when he was our only bit of creativity, but then seemed to totally lose it, particularly the Dundee Utd final when he seemed unable to even do the most basic things. An enigma who, as Frankie says, will not make it.
Frankie 8,709
See what happens when you sack your usual proof reader. Good point but I didn't want to spend half the day working through red pen....
pete 2,499
I disagree a little bit with McCulloch. I think if and when we were playing attacking football and he was getting around the box, he was really dangerous and scored a few good goals. When we disappeared into our 4-5--------1, he was probably the one that suffered most as the only balls he got were 40 yard punts.
