Gribz 847
I hate when people say they dont want him because he started well then went downhill. If we do get him does that mean he wont go uphill again and start playing well again?? Its like Hemdani now - He was POTY in 06/07 but now everyone wants him punted. But when its the other way around like Papac who started off poorly and now is playing well they want him to stay. He has shown he is a good player then he got moved out on the right where he was average. Playing players out of position has ruined a few Rangers careers before. Form comes and goes with every player. So Id take him unless Walter has better options lined up. I dont think we can have enough central midfielder with a bit of attack mindedness about them. But he has to play central midfield if he joins.
Gazza_8 233
The thing is though Gribz, he started off well when he was played in the middle but ever since he's been played out on the right and not made any sort of impact in games. I think Thomson and Ferguson will be 1st pick in midfield next season which means if we do sign Davis he'll be punted out to the right again.

There is no way Ferguson and Thomson will play every game for us next season and Hemdani may leave so we will need central midfielders (again). He isnt the ideal player to play behind the striker in a 4-5-1 but he is a decent option - and a darn site better than Ferguson in that role. He would be ideal playing central in a 4-1-4-1 formation.
