ascender 352
That must be paper/agent talk. Unless the Lafferty deal falls through, I can't see us signing any more strikers.
pete 2,499
Rangers linked with an interest in Werder Bremen forward Markus Rosenberg in the Swedish media. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-1027611/Rangers-SPL-attempt-peace-pact-Gers-wait-Gow-agree-Burnley.html Nooooo the guy is shite. Couldn't lick his own arse for Ajax or Werder.

ascender 352
So, why on earth would we consider selling Boyd? Does the fact he's been our top scorer since he signed count for nothing? The worrying thing about stories linking Boyd, Cuellar & McGregor with moves away is that they seem to be growing in number rather than lessening.
johnnyk 158
if we pay £2m for KM then pay £3m+ and gow for lafferty then let boyd go for say £2.5-£3m then that just doesn't make sense to me. can't see the logic of letting our top scorer for the last 3 seasons go on the cheap and then not replacing him with another proven goalscorer, unless WS has one ready and waiting??
craig 5,199
So, why on earth would we consider selling Boyd? Does the fact he's been our top scorer since he signed count for nothing? The worrying thing about stories linking Boyd, Cuellar & McGregor with moves away is that they seem to be growing in number rather than lessening. What makes this sadder, if possible, is that in Boyd & Cuellar they seem to WANT to stay here rather than leave. Boyd is a natural goalscorer and if it is the case that many of Healy's NI goals are assisted from the hard work of Lafferty then surely we should be looking for Lafferty to provide those assists to Boyd. I don't get it.

Yup, is this because the offer was not what was expected... or does WS want to keep boydy at the club? Not so sure myself.

No mention of the price? Maybe the club feel we can get a bit more for him if they come back with another offer. Im assuming its Cardiff!! Have to say thats a wrong move for Boyd, he will struggle there in the league IMO.
