johnnyk 158
Celtic could be set to pip Rangers and Wolves for Burnley striker kyle Lafferty by using Hoops outcast Derek Riordan as a makeweight to secure the deal. (Daily Record) Andrius Velicka has admitted his is desperate to sign for Rangers as the Ibrox club stepped up their efforts to sign the Lithuanian from Viking Stavanger in a £1m deal. (Daily Record) both from the record so probably a lot of crap
porno_piper 0
A team full of centre halves? I wouldnt rule that out. I bet Cueller would be awesome up front, and even if he was crap, at least he'd still have great hair. We'd be bloody hard to score against though eh!! I hear Bobo balde is going cheap.. may aswell, we already have one Celtic outcast on the way:uzi:
Cotter 0
OK so the papers are so fucking boring and depressing I thought, since it's the silly season and we're all missing a bit of quality sillyness, I'd bring these two gems from the skysports papertalk forum to the gersnetter's attention. Enjoy.... Aldo Macdee (Rangers fan) says... my mother works at ibrox stadium in the catering dept. she says her boss told her 2 french internationals to come to ibrox this summer (thierry henry possibly ?!?!?!), her boss also adamant that ronaldo will leave man united this summer, his eventual destination will be back in premiership within 1 year. my mother is not a football fan and not one for making up stories. And.... Blair Hartley (Rangers fan) says... My best mate's father is on the board at Ibrox and has been for 12 years, he has assured me that Thierry Henry is coming to Ibrox, with Cuellar and Alan MacGregor going in the opposite direction. Henry will only be at Ibrox until Christmas, before being sold to Chelsea for £17 million. It will be made to look like Rangers cashed in and Henry had little say in the matter, he didn't want to upset the Arsenal fans. Barcelona see Cuellar as the perfect partner for Puyol. Senational. Is Willie McKay Henry's agent? ......... I'd rather keep the King anyday:flipa:
scooter657 0
Meanwhile, Pascal Chimbonda has been told he can leave Tottenham for £2m with Aston Villa, Fulham and Rangers all interested. (Daily Mail) I'd take him!!

Cotter 0
Come on Gribz, his "mother is not a football fan and not one one for making up stories". lol. Chimbonda? TBH I thought we should have got him as part of the Hutton deal. Better than the full backs we have, unless Smith recovers fully.
Cotter 0
Here's something from the herald this morning: Meanwhile, Rangers have been told that they will need to bid at least £2m if they are to have any chance of signing Christophe Berra. The Ibrox club have reportedly bid £1m for the Hearts captain, £500,000 less than the £1.5m offer Wolves had turned down last week. Vladimir Romanov, the Hearts owner, will only allow interested clubs to speak to the 23 year-old defender if they meet Hearts' £2m valuation of the player. Berra is currently on holiday and has put all discussions about his future on hold until he returns later this month. Sounds realistic to me. Decent player IMO. Personally would prefer him to Reynolds. Do we take it from these stories that Webster and A N other young Scot will be vying for the position beside Carlos? No big name centre half for us....
Gribz 989
Im fed up being linked with SPL players. This has been a downfall for a few seasons - buying the supposed best of the other average lot. I cant think of any SPL player from any other side id want at Rangers bar maybe Scott Brown.
