FAO Gribz re West Ham

Recommended Posts

I heard this yesterday Pete and I havent heard of him at all.

Your always better with the devil you know and unless Curbs was to be replaced with a big named manager then im happy for him to continue into the next 8 games of next season.

Next season will be a big test for him, he will have a fully fit squad and there is no excuses.

Did that French player that Rangers wanted to sign ever get a game after his injury? If so was he any good?

P.s. Your better with Curbs believe me.

Julian Faubert - He has barely played. Id say he has had about 8 appearances since his injury. He is not near match fit and looked off the pace when he played. He's got some nice touches and is a strong looking player but he cant be judged until he has had a good run in the team.

I think there is the basis of a good side there with Etherington on 1 side (very underrated player), Faubert on the right then Parker, Bowyer and Dyer in the middle behind Bellamy and Ashton. Plus Nobby Solano has shown a lot of class whenever he has played so id keep him for another year and Noble and Mullins also. Id sell Ljungberg - he has really struggled.

We still have Quashie to come back aswell - so the squad is massive.

Hayden Mullins and Matty Etherington are 2 of the most under rated players in the league. They would be 2 great signings for Rangers.

He can't be as bad as Curbishley though.

Curbs is not a bad manager, it's just that he's not overly good either but he'll always do his best and is a gentleman.

West Ham have a proud tradition of loyalty and family values. I expect most young WHU supporters think those values stem from the 60s onward but it goes right back to our origins as the Thames Ironworks. It's all documented.

Well, Curbs played a handful of Games for the Hammers in the mid 70s and I think that's the main reason why he's been taken to 'our' hearts. He's one of us. I just wish he'd been one of us when we were employing Lou Macari!
