Trailio 0
Rijkaard Sacked To be honest i'm not surprised to hear this news as it's been on the cards for a while however, I am surprised to hear that Guardiola is being lined up to replace him. I was so sure it would be Mourihnio.

Gribz 919
Guardiola replacing him is the shock - thats a knee jerk reaction. I thought they would definatly have gone for a Mourinho, Hiddink or the likes. But Jose is lined up for Inter. Barca have struggled this season but i think its been down to big ego's not performing. I wonder if Henry will leave! I but he is regretting leaving Arsenal. Id love to see him go back to Arsenal this summer but with a re-newed attitude that he isnt the main man - its exactly what the Goons need!

Guest Ibroxian
If a man who gets his team to semi-finals of CL is sacked then it's a poor and shameful predicament football finds itself in. It's not promoting loyalty, hard work and achievement is rewarding to the millions of young children that follow this sport. Disgraceful. It reflects society I'm afraid.
Gazza_8 233
I heard Walter Smith is rumoured to be taking over, not Guardiola after all.

Well Capello was sacked twice by Madrid after winning the Primera Liga in each season. That's shocking. The treatment of managers these days is appaling.

Guardiola is a huge surprise though, fans' favorite obviously but very in experienced for a club of Barca's size.
