Jon 0 Posted April 23, 2008 Share Posted April 23, 2008 Hey, Liverpool are still in it....more than the Arse are Liverpool were so unlucky tonight, they could well be the first team to beat Chelsea in what, 3 or 4 years? The game against Manure coulod have a big impact on the game as Chelsea have to play their strongest team if they want any chance of the league. All the signs are that Liverpool will rest a fair few of their players which could work in their favour. Yes stupidity, but doesnt change the fact that on the 90+ minutes, Liverpool deserved anything less than the win. Can you deny that some of their play was excellent? If it was Arse you would be defending them and the unfairness of the result to the hilt. Go on, answer honestly, who deserved to win that game? I will add that just because Liverpool played better doesn't mean the deserved to win, look at St Johnstone on Sunday. See at the end of the day, yes I get pissed off about scores and performances but it's only a game of football. Honestly, Liverpool deserved to win tonight but they never. Gribz 919 Posted April 23, 2008 Author Share Posted April 23, 2008 Im delighted Chelsea got that goal. Now Liverpool know how Arsenal felt - robbed! It was nice to see Anfield silenced in the last minute rather than going wild. Liverpool are a different team in the CL altogether, if they played like that every week then they would be challenging for the title. I cant work out why Essien was left out, he is Chelsea best player just now and Id have had Anelka on much earlier.
