andrew_2010 0
Link Milan To Begin New Era By Selling Gattuso? According to La Repubblica, AC Milan are set to signal the beginning of a new era at the club by selling Gennaro Gattuso. The Rossoneri have had a hugely disappointing season, and their 3-2 defeat against Juventus on Saturday night means they now look unlikely to qualify for next seasons Champions League. The consensus in the European press is that Milan have reached the end of a cycle, and need to rejuvenate their ageing squad. The first to go it seems will be Rino Gattuso, who has been a shadow of his terrier-like self this campaign. The favourites to sign the 30-year-old are said to be Bayern Munich, who want him to link up with his Italy national team-mate Luca Toni. There is also serious interest from the English Premiership. Manchester United have been long-term admirers, however Gattusos demise is likely to rule them out. Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United would both jump at the chance to sign the player, who has stated openly in the past that he would like to test himself out in the Premiership before he retires. A final option is Glasgow Rangers, who Gattuso has deep affection for, having played for them in 1997/98. A move here may also be appealing as Gattusos wife is from Scotland. Roberto Rossi I'd be happy to see him back, although KT may disagree...

Beattie 0
There's been Lovenkrands rumours? Would welcome Rino back in a heartbeat.
juffery 0
First i've heard Lovenkrands mentioned in a while. Would love Rino back, but can't see it happening. With Flamini out of contract at Highbury (I know) good chance he could head down there.
alanmidd 0
no chance he'll be at Rangers just yet. I think he'd come in a couple of years time but he'll end up in the prem if he leaves Milan. Defo wont be Arsenal though. Unlike Wayne Rooney, Wenger doesn't do oldies
juffery 0
I dunno, he's not that old, and I think an experienced midfielder is one of the things needed to keep Arsenal going. It won't be Man Utd with Carrick, Scholes, Fletcher, Hargreaves, Anderson all in midfield.
alanmidd 0
Wenger just doesn't sign them. Can't recall him ever signing anyone over 30. He tends to shift on players once they turn 30/31 eg Viera, Petit, Overmars, Henry, Pires, Ljunberg
juffery 0
He's maybe never signed them before, but has he gone three seasons without a trophy before?
