pete 2,499
Ole Budtz\ Cercle Brugge on a weeks trial. Marco di Vaio\ Valencia for 4 mill. Not too happy with these ones. Too many clubs with little success. Sorry i can't copy and paste for some reason, see the Herald.
buba3d 0
4 million ??? we're lucky even if we can stump up 1 m these days.
Gribz 914
Never heard of Budtz. Cant say Di Vaio has ever really produced many goals at top level either!
Laudbertz 0
We're not really at the top level Gribz though.... are we? lol I remember him when he played for Parma, if its the same guy, and he was great. Aint heard much on him since then though. Cant see us shelling out £4m on any one player at the moment either.
ascender 352
Besides, how old is Di Vaio now? Any more news on this Arsenal youngster we were supposed to be signing?
Frankie 8,652
Talks on Bendtar as progressing well apparantly. Season long loan. Di Vaio is 30 IIRC and not a bad player. However, we cannot afford £4million. Don't know anything about the other potential trialist.

I think he will either not get through the trial or at most used as back-up. I can't see him putting any of our current defenders in any danger. I see the daylate record have him as a striker. A few years late on this one, it would seem he has played in defence for some years, although he started as a striker.( German websites have him also as defender)
Danny 0
tbh Di Vaio is a good striker. He's not *the* most prolific of all times, but in his career at Juve and Valencia he's known the way to goal. But £4M seems a tad excessive.
Frankie 8,652
I sincerely doubt we have that kind of money to spend. Especially when you consider the wages that the likes of Di Vaio would command.
colshy18 0
i must say if we were to sign di viao i wouldn`t be too pissed off. think we have to try get the price reduced though cause if he turns out to be a dokeywe`ll never live it down and we just cannot affoard to throw 4m away these days. he has been quite effective else he wouldn`t have played in serie a or the prima leaga. don`t know ANYTHING about the young dane.
