This is my take which I posted earlier plus a week or so ago when I said the old school type ranting style is long gone. Im not saying BF is doing ranting but I would hazard a guess that he is and the players are not respecting it with him being in the door 5 minutes and not having the best managerial track record thus far.

I am far from being a fan of Barry Ferguson but IMO, this isn't really on him. It is more on those who decided to appoint him.

Generally, we have had this type of player mentality at Ibrox for years which allied to a lack of vision and leadership upstairs has produced Omnishambles FC.

An interim period of 2-3 weeks, ok but 3 months was too long for BF&friends.

That said, Patrick Stewart was between a rock and a hard place and not many would have fancied the gig.

Yeah you have valid points but BF isnt helping himself with post match comments, keep it in the dressing room. Plus wasnt the players confused in Bilbao with his paper notes and Tav couldnt read the hand writing?

BF is BF, he is what he is.

Those appointing him will have known or been told.

Watching the BF interview after the game where he talks about players not doing what’s being asked of them ‘individually and collectively as a group’ makes me wonder if he’s lost the dressing room already

... or the players simply ignore what is demanded of them to play at this club. Not least after most incentive is gone.

Going by the last few games, only Hagi, Raskin, and Dessers seem to have the drive required, but have to cope with the rest. Whether Jefte, Igamane and Diomande actually understand what is demanded of them is anyone's guess. Cerny sure gives as good as he's got, but more often than not, he over does it.

As it stands, and this is just a repeat of what has been said quite a lot, we have a rather dire pool of players, in terms of quantity of quality. And what they lack in quality, most can't make up in determination, strengths of character, or ambition. Which has been a strength of seasons past. It is going to be some task to stop them grabbing 56, no matter how many tainted titles are included in their "records".

And yet Hagi was on the bench for players of lesser talent and lesser determination 🙄 That's firmly on BF

Hagi will be off in the summer, so no issues from me.

How do you know that ? Perhaps Rose, Lopetegui, Gerrard or whoever gets the job may want to keep him. He is still the most talented football player in the squad imo, and his effort when he has played cannot be questioned.

His contract runs out in June.

He may re-sign when the new manager is appointed, but I doubt it.

(IMO, he would not suite the style of Rose.)
