I have been saying it for years about Gogic , we should have signed him 10 years ago he would have been at hero at the club by now.

Wrong sort of defenders. i.e. they can’t kick the ball let alone the man.

Most clubs can field a side with lots of defenders, and defend - often quite successfully, often against us. 

We can field a team full of defenders, and fail to defend, often. 

 

Can somebody explain this? 

 

 

We have not signed a real decent defender for years , and if any of that shite start next season we are winning zero once again. The next manager must make it a priority to get quality defenders in. All our best teams in the past were built from the back.

Not so long ago we had a defence that helped us go an entire league campaign unbeaten, losing very few goals in the process and got us to Quarter finals of EL. 

 

A season later the fans decided they were all sh1t and demanded they were all sold (only 1 remains).

 

Now the defence is the worst its been since Pedro was the manager and we wonder why?

 

I'd guess at a combination of  poor players and poor coaching.

And poor signings i.e. low cost signings & out of contract signings

Fergusons after match press conference says it all 

 

Rangers interim head coach Barry Ferguson:"Not good enough. I know it is a difficult place to come, but when you take the lead twice, you need to maintain that lead.

"That's been a problem all season and that's the reason why we have not been challenging. You can do as much work on the training ground and say as many things in meetings, but when you cross that white line, you have to deal with it yourself.

"When you speak to them individually and as a group and you ask them to do things and they don't do it, what is the point? That's the thing that frustrates me."

Off course but they should still be good enough to beat the SPL teams. Well, if we had a system, structure and were well coached.

The interim saviour post Clement has lost 15 goals in 7 league games.

Next Sunday is going to be a barrel of laughs, Not looking forward to this one bit, yet it does make me wonder if the cogs are starting to be turned with the new investors and players know there times up hence the downing tolls and not playing ball.

So how do you explain the start of the season up to the rumours of a takeover?
