IMHO, we should give "fringe" players a run out today ... Pröpper won't be there on Thursday, Cortes neither. Aberdeen will be up for this, if only to hand the Scum the title. (Which I wouldn't mind, so they don't have their mob celebrating it during a game ... )

Kelly

Tavernier - Pröpper - Nsiala - Ridvan

McCausland - Barron - (Bajrami/)Hagi - Cortes

Danilo - Igamane

... not least in this striker combination.

You were very close with that

Barron captain..

No doubt he’ll get a friendly welcome. Typical provocative ploy by Rangers to have journos foaming at the mouth.

I can see Cortes, the young defenders, Pröpper and Bajrami being utterly overwhelmed but it’s right to rest the main men.

  • Frankie changed the title to [Pre-match] Aberdeen vs Rangers

Certainly expected some changes today but not to this level. No idea how we'll line up but it should result in an open game. A few players we've wanted to see feature more so a good chance for the likes of Fernandes, Bajrami, Cortes and Danilo to show they can be relied on.

The squad is fine, relatively speaking, but he's dropped them all!

He did mention on Thursday and Friday that 3 or 4 players where playing with knocks - think they've been "rested" rather than dropped which is fine if that's the case.
