I voted for Liam Kelly, but could have gone for a few. I thought Hagi, Raskin and Sterling were incredible. And a special mention for Big Leon rolling back the years and showing why he is a True Blue.      WATP

Going for Kelly, he made the game changing play but saving the penalty. Slim pickings from the outfield who worked hard, but no real stand outs.

 

Thought Kelly's kicking was good for us.

Hagi for me. Not much scope for his creative side to show through but his defensive cover was very good. Helped nullify the winger. Thought Cerny also helped out Tavernier on the other wing.

Could vote for ant of the 10 players who showed brilliant resilience.

 

I voted for Kelly as he had a few decent saves including the penalty. 

 

Have to mention both our full backs (plus Jefte when he came on) as they largely nullified their wide players.

His penalty save, from a ridiculous award, and a couple of other stops, ensured the draw, which kept us in the tie, and which we would have accepted at 8pm last night.

Kelly for me too. Applause for wee Ridvan, his best defensive performance to date for me and if he could get to that level consistently I could be persuaded he has a future with us. Hagi was immense for all the wrong reasons you normally assoicate with him, he worked just as hard as Raskin who was everywhere, helped Ridvan when required and closed and harried them all day. Was running out of steam a bit before he got subbed. Balogun seemed to stroll it against top quality strikers.

I went  for Hagi.  To be honest the entire team were brilliant last night but Hagi's reading of the game was a joy to watch and he did so much defending to help Yilmaz last night.

Although Butland deserved to be dropped ,the timing of it before such an important game could well have been questioned.

 

No worries at all though, as Kelly stepped up and proved he was the man for the job.
