[FT] Rangers 0 - 0 Athletic Club

I was delighted to get a draw out of that.   To be honest I expected more from them.  Almost to a man our players that started the game were outstanding.  We had more than our fair share of bad luck and there were some poor decisions from match officials but we are still in it for the second leg.  Anything is possible in a knockout.

Reading we've accumulated more coefficient points this season than we did the year we got to the final.

We might get there again! Outstanding last night considering the early red

Any word on Rice or Sterling injuries?

Am I still dreaming you better believe I am, luck indeed played a massive part in our draw last night as @JohnMc said in his lucky, lucky, lucky post I bet a few hundred thousand maybe millions of other fans wanted us to get pumped last night , What I took from the game highlights is that whatever was said on Monday with Barry and his home truths or the players as Kelly said double digits got off there chests done them a lot of good as they played as one , of course the proof is in the pudding come our next league match against the sheep but right now I’m proud of every player and Barry and the coaching team for sticking to their game plan. We don’t ask for much all we ask is each player gives their all. 💪🏻🔴🔵

Rumours are both are bad - Rice was similar to Danilo's facial injury and Sterling's is achilles.

Hopefully that's incorrect but looks like they'll be out for a while.

A big improvement needed to get into the next round good to see Butland dropped that was common sense but I think he stuck with Hagi far two long I’d have hooked him at half time for young legs in McAusland get him and Cerny to stay out wide get their crosses in for two strikers Dessers and Igamane .

But we live to fight another day but I suspect the Spanish boys will up their game .

This looked much like a role-reversal to the Rangers league games that I have seen. They could not score, you defended resolutely. The loss of Pröpper did not really change much of the game plan, I would say. I was a bit surprised that there was not another fast attacker on, to have more options of getting the ball away.

All to play for.

Sterling no surprise, he is a crock and needs sold. No idea why we gave him a new contract. Madness.

Shame for young Rice, he did ok last night. Was looking forward to seeing him get more games.

Not sure who it was in the ambulance getting a mounted police escort along edmiston drive to PRW.  I'm assuming it was Sterling, which isn't a good sign.
