Firstly, you have to plug the holes. How can we generate circa £100M and still require soft loans to make it to the end of the season?

I think a "deep-dive" would show that its all due to bad boardroom decisions and nothing to do with  impatient fans (remembering the fans are the biggest financial contributers the club have).

Indeed. The current incumbents are quick to shout about the fans and how much they hate us and that we cost them money etc, but they have mismanaged the club into the ground.

Money on legacy projects, and then overspending on those projects, tittering about with pointless off-pitch stuff, name plaques for themselves, champions walls etc, all while spending or recruiting poorly in the areas of the business that actually mattered the most - the football department.

Average or shit managers a plenty, poor recruitment, poor outlay on those poorly recruited players.

There are championship and lower level premiership clubs that are better managed than we have been in recent years.

We've tried the "balance" approach.

We've tried the rehauling of the football department thinking in academy.

We've tried the 'constructive losses' under Dave 'house of cards' King.

Bottom line, we need to stop losing around 10M a year.

IMO we probably need to take more pain so as to give us a chance of building up a club that will eventually enjoy sustainable success.

But everything you've just mentioned there, was all by the same people - King, Parks etc.

We've had the same incompetent owners over that period. That was my point. And it was half-arsed at every opportunity.

We need to stop being obtained by shite people.

Yesterday’s performance was the worst for a while

Looked like we could've played all night and still done absolutely nothing.

No fight, urgency, pride, not even anger.

They're done, so are we. Takeover is all we have now.

Some of those "shite people" kept the lights on and tried to finance fan expectation.

Given the present circumstances, unrealistic expectations (timescales) have driven a lot of bad decision making. That said, it is still bad decision making.

You seem to expect lots of money being thrown at the club and just want to forget the accounts.

With all due respect mate, you seem to be a fucking idiot, that cannot read what is written Infront of you and decide to interpret things in your own weird way.

Where have I ever said about flinging loads of money at it? Go and look at my post to CammyF, it was never about flinging money at it, it was actually about running the club properly, which although those shite people may have kept the lights on, they fucked up so badly that they needed soft loans to do it.

Being a good owner doesn't mean flinging money at something, fundamentals of the club were wrong at all levels, spending money on legacy projects etc rather than consolidating from a winning position under Gerrard for example, taking a gamble that the squad would do it again and deciding not to invest in the squad, all basic stuff that wasn't looked after.

Shambles of a football department for a club of our size, trying to compensate by using daft AI software and ending up with one of the worst injury laden few years I've seen at the club.

Please stop contributing mate, you're utterly clueless.

How much did NEH cost us?

How much did we lose on court cases?

How much did we lose sacking managers?

I could go on, but these have nothing to do with impatient fans and everything to do with bad boardroom decisions

You keep saying that.

You keep on being right.

I remember the game were he hooked the young lad Nsiala okay he wasn’t at his best that day but neither was his teammates in defence it looks to me that a young lad has been thrown under a bus because I don’t recall him starting since that’s not the way to handle the young lads it was a very poor move I say
