Chris Graham was once a strong supporter of the board IIRC. DK in particular

People can change their opinions. At one point I thought Sir Duped was the right person for Rangers. Then I did some digging and got my eyes opened.

History repeated itself - those who woke up to SDMs mismanagement were ridiculed and abused. Those who woke up to this (and previous incarnations) board were ridiculed and abused.

Why are you asking me - ask Chris Graham.

Generally speaking, the club has been mismanaged for decades whilst our main rivals are the polar opposite.

Those are the main reasons why things are, how they are.

We always look for the quick fix when what we need is to start from scratch. Or in other words, become sustainable as a business.

Had that chance in 2012, royally fucked it, had that chance again when Dave King and the Three Bears took over from the spivs, royally fucked that too.

We keep being obtained by shite owners. That's the crux of it.

So the current incumbents who've mismanaged us to a point we cannot operate without soft loans despite generating close to £100M selling up is a "quick fix"?

Why are we having to make "quick fixes" when it comes to successive managers? It's because the boar continues to make the wrong appointments.

A question that always remains unanswered I'd how long should we have given this boad to make us sustainable? Another decade?

What would you call owners who instead of splashing the cash, insisted on relative austerity whilst asking for patience?

Sensible.

But there has to be a balance. For example:

Can't just frontload a warchest and pay it over the next ten years having one good season out of those years.

But you also can't just buy relatively safe average prospects and go baron for years on end.

Rangers has to be capable of building an academy and scouting network that can bring in players young, have a successful impact and move on for high profits. Really you want the bulk of the cash going on scouts and player identification/development.

Firstly, you have to plug the holes. How can we generate circa £100M and still require soft loans to make it to the end of the season?

I think a "deep-dive" would show that its all due to bad boardroom decisions and nothing to do with  impatient fans (remembering the fans are the biggest financial contributers the club have).

What was all the stuff about SDM? Came as  a bit of shock to most I think when everything began to unravel

We've tried the "balance" approach.

We've tried the rehauling of the football department thinking in academy.

We've tried the 'constructive losses' under Dave 'house of cards' King.

Bottom line, we need to stop losing around 10M a year.

IMO we probably need to take more pain so as to give us a chance of building up a club that will eventually enjoy sustainable success.
