Truth be told, he had a couple or so nightmarish games, but those are normal for a goalie. I would like to see more of Kelly, not least in league games.

We do have a tendency of playing the blame-game on a high level these days and should refrain to put every goal conceded under the microscope. IMHO, he couldn't do anything more to prevent the goals on Saturday than he did. Nor any other goalie.

We’ve always been blessed with good goalkeepers throughout the years so it’s a big call for the stand in manager does he stay with him or dump him I know what I’d do .

Telling me no other goalie does better for those chances?

Surely you'd expect a professional keeper to keep their first goal out? Maybe not hold it but certainly palm it away. He might have seen it late and it was well struck but I thought he was at fault for that goal.

Thanks for making me watch that scene again ... stop it at 0.06 mins in.

As I said in the game-day thread, he had 10 people (9 players and a referee) standing in front of him, blocking the sight. The ball was struck neatly and hard, Butland saw it late and had not much time to react.

Am no having that mate. Even Butland was annoyed with himself after the first goal. It skipped through his hands fs 😂

This week it was 9 guys in front of him, last week for Dundee's 2nd the ball took a bad bounce. There is always an excuse.

After his first few games I reckoned he was a decent enough ‘keeper but with a tendency to fumble low shots especially diving left even under no pressure. I wonder if he takes his eye off the ball thinking he’s got it covered while he wonders what to do next when he’s got it.
