Do you? Show us your research.

So you may profit from it? Not bloody likely.

Look, if you must have the last, cavilling, word, I'll be generous, and give it to you. Here it is:

"THE LAST WORD"

Copy, and paste it onto your Honours Board.

It's all immaterial anyway as he's not getting the job.

Well, he'll bring Michael Beale back as part of his team, surely that has us all on-side.

I hadn't given Gerrad returning a 2nd thought until I was speaking with someone this morning who I know and trust and they casually dropped his name into the conversation.

I have a number of issues with Gerrard and wouldn't want him back. But cant see why his stint in Saudi is being used as a case against him, its not a serious football league its a marketing campaign. It would go the other way had he been a resounding success. I mean does anyone even know/care who the best teams and managers are in Saudi? I dont.

Same goes for Muscat in China. Chinese football isn't serious and is essentially just a betting market.

Wolves picked up Vitor Pereira from Saudi.

And didn't Forest pluck Nuno from Saudi?

I don't know why I'm posting this - I don't want Gerrard anywhere near the options.

You say 'from' Saudi, yes both were taken 'from' Saudi. I highly doubt either was hired because of how they performed as head coaches IN Saudi.

My point was any performance data that may normally be used in the hiring or otherwise of managers from Saudi is probably disregarded in the most part.
