I know this will get shot down, but our best 11 beats their best 11 all day long right now.  Our problem is that our best 11 is literally all we have, whereas they have a good core of 16 or more that have an argument about being in the best 11.  We need a few more that challenge our 11.  But more importantly, we need to beat the rest of the shite.  Beating the filth is nice, but I’d accept the occasional slip up against them for more shiny things.

I have argued before that I think we have a decent core of young players with which to build.

This summer needs to see the acquisition of first-team quality players to supplement our core.

There is no patience out there, to allow a manager to develop talent in the first team. They don't develop sat on the bench.

Strong connections on the right - over the last few games it has been the left that had the stronger connections with Jefte a major hub. It would be interesting to see Tavernier and Jefte play as WBs.

Sterling again showing up well.

Tavernier looks quite impressive, finding / found by Raskin and Diomande a lot.

Cerny and Dessers a little isolated.

I liked Ridvan's positioning, but he was a little isolated, too.

I wonder if Celtic allowed the pass from Butland to Balogun? Balogun isn't great on the ball, yet is clearly the outlet for Butland.

Don't know why you'd get shot down - think you're quite right. Only Maeda and Kuhn are arguably better than our options.

I did enjoy their whining yesterday, we're constantly hearing pundits talk about their strength in depth, the bench etc.

Pumped at home - 'but mcgregor wisnae playin'

Btw, the same mcgregor that we've dominated in the last few games.

Up ye.
