Union Bears cost Rangers fans tickets for Hampden

SPFL ruling today that pyro used by the UB at both the league cup SF & Final has breached rules and as a result Rangers will get a reduced allocation at our next Hampden game of 500 tickets. 
 

i can only hope the 500 comes straight out of the UB allocation but we all know it won’t so the most selfish group of Rangers fans will now cost 500 Rangers fans to miss our next SF. I’m sure they think it’s worth it to blow some smoke up their own arse.

I just wonder why our board ignore every piece of bad press these morons bring on the club. You’re correct of course, they will still be up front at every away game.

Are they the most selfish? Was it the Union Bears who got whole sections of Ibrox closed for singing banned songs?

For rhe record the UBs should be punished for this, but let's not make this worse than it is.

 

It'll only really effect the vast majority of fans if we draw Celtic in the next semi-final. If we draw say Dundee, any Rangers fan wanting a ticket will get a ticket.

RANGERS notes the statement from the SPFL and the sanction imposed on the club following the use of pyrotechnics at Premier Sports Cup fixtures earlier this season

The club has been consistently clear that the use of pyrotechnics at our matches in any competition is unacceptable and could lead to sanctions.

This has now come to pass with 500 of our supporters to be locked out of a Premier Sports Cup tie at Hampden the next time the club reaches the latter stages of that competition. A repeat use at any future SPFL (Premiership or League Cup) game will lead to even more supporters - the vast majority of whom will not have used pyrotechnics - being unable to attend a future semi-final or final tie in the Premier Sports Cup at the National Stadium. Rangers again reiterates that pyrotechnic use is illegal, and will now deprive Rangers supporters the opportunity to back their team in a key match.

So that makes it ok then? I am guessing you no longer go to many away games? They are out of control, assume they are bombproof, hardly even watch much of the game, and in my opinion they do more harm than good to the reputation of the club. How many fines have we incurred because of them? Attention seekers that seem to have forgotten/ignored most of our good songs and replaced with copycat dirges that other clubs ultras groups sing and just change the words to fit players that have done nothing to deserve them.

The songs thing does annoy me.  I agree many are repetitive dirges.  Proper Rangers songs would help the atmosphere.  It is not as if we are short of them.

The song sheet at Ibrox is complete dirge these day’s couldn’t beat the whole stadium including main stad giving the Billy boys laldy it’s like a funeral these days .

These Union bears is this this bunch who dress mostly in black with their faces covered under a hoodie the same ones who brought terror to older people going about their Christmas shopping last year.

I know that they divide opinion but for what it's worth I do like them, I wish they would not keep shooting themselves in the foot, but I'd rather they were there than not.
