Bringing Barron back into midfield is a big gamble as he has been quite awful and playing Ridvan in any position is risky too. Glad Souttar is back but with 5 defenders and 3 sitting midfielders we are clearly trying to not get pumped rather than the approach which has worked well for us in Euro away games so far. Presumably playing 3 in midfield as we've been a bit overrun there in the last few games. I'm presuming we're playing 4-3-3. I don't think it suits Dessers playing up front on his own though, even though he's in good form. If Thursday Rangers show up we might still be in the tie but if "normal" Rangers turn up, it'll be a drubbing.
