Honest Question - I have no experience of pro football training, but surely they should break sweat, surely they should be too out of breath for all that laughing and joking. Is this really any good preperation wise ? The famous saying train hard fight easy is something I’d say but giving the amount of games we have played BF might not want to jeopardise any more injury worries, yet again he might tell the players to go full frontal assault and bring it to them. Either way it’s going to be a tense match waiting and hoping they don’t make too many errors and we can bring it to them at Ibrox.

der Berliner 4,050
At this stage of the season, everybody should be as fit as he can be (no laughing at the back). Maybe it is just me, but given where we are right now, and how these people performed only last Saturday ... or Wednesday ... or the weekend before ... one is somewhat annoyed to see them "having fun" on the training pitch. At least not while a camera is watching on ... Tonight will be another "let's wait and see" affair. You simply don't know what to expect from us on Thursday nights.

DMAA 3,739 Posted Thursday at 16:37 Share Posted Thursday at 16:37 I think that is a sensible selection. Relieved with it tbh. No naivety, we’ve set up to be compact and difficult to beat. I like Jefte being pushed up too both because he is a liability defensively but also because he is by far our fastest player on the counter.
Frankie 8,843 Posted Thursday at 16:39 Author Share Posted Thursday at 16:39 Don't think many people will be surprised with that XI. Ferguson did speak of seeing a different team under his management but, so far at least, it's been a tactical rehash of Clement's systems domestically and now in Europe too. Fair enough to a degree but quality must improve.
