Three would suffice ... if we have that many fit and ready. Mind you, back in the day when we had enough strikers, even those how could play in a 4-3-3 either side of the central striker, we stuck to non-scoring dross. Alas, Barry tries it with 4-4-2, albeit the wrong two CM.

As much as most players moan about Dessers , we cant  deny his work Rate would a 4-5-1 Suit us with more in midfield supplying him. Surely he has a ratio of 1-3 chances he strikes the goal?

Our MF 2 are getting outnumbered in MF games now. Teams are putting 3 up against them

We were a lot wider, too, compared to the Killie game where we were very narrow. 

 

You can see why everyone thought we were exposed in the midfield.
