DMAA 3,716 Posted yesterday at 07:20 Share Posted yesterday at 07:20 Will ultimately be remembered for an unbelievable collapse in his first season where he blew an incredible chance to claw back some ground from Celtic. 15 points dropped in only 10 games, and almost a carbon copy of how he finished at Monaco. I’m not sure this season will be memorable long term to anyone. Very frustrating we doubled down on him and ignored red flags for a long time but at least it’s done now.

lenny3k 751 Posted yesterday at 08:13 Share Posted yesterday at 08:13 Is this just a chance to add another string to add to Dujon Sterling's bow, he's already got plenty of experience of bing on the sideline

Ready1314 22 Posted yesterday at 08:21 Share Posted yesterday at 08:21 (edited) Who ever we pick next should be offered no more than a 2 year deal with extensions if he performs well. Other clubs have managed to do this recently. The days of giving 4-5 year deals to completely untried managers in this league should be over. This also goes with players and if they refuse we move on to others. Edited yesterday at 08:21 by Ready1314
Devil's advocaat 1,740 Posted yesterday at 08:33 Share Posted yesterday at 08:33 I wouldn't be averse to Gerrard getting a contract til the end of the season.
Yorkie Bear 699 Posted yesterday at 09:07 Share Posted yesterday at 09:07 As we have a takeover in the offing, any appointment can only be to the end of the season so I can't imagine any manager with any standing to agree to do that. I imagine the current assistant manager will continue with the coaching and we will get an ex player to wear the suit and tie and front up to the press. Having said that, we will be meeting Jose the week after next....

Give it to Barry Ferguson just for that game, that way we can have the Ibrox showdown, Barry Ferguson v Jose Mourinho
