Our rolling xG over the course of the season (League and Europe, NOT Cups).

Poor start, good middle, then horrible recently - our xGA actually went higher than our xG!

Our xG is quite stable, hovering around 2 per game, but is on the low side. We get into trouble when our xG Against increases, like recently.

That period around match 20 was good: we scored a lot of goals and conceded very few.

Can that be split showing home against away games?

Dessers slightly underperforming his xG.

Igamane, in contrast, is overperforming his xG (9 goals from an xG of 7.2), so a dry spell is on the cards.

He basically shoots from anywhere!

I don't think its the "dry spell" that's concerning, it's the complete loss of form. This ould be down to him being moved to accommodate Dessers, or the fact he isn't a number 9 and we are missing numbers in the box when he leads the line.

I think he misses Danilo.

How many games did they play together?

I think its just a trend that's happened to a few players who play well, then their form falls off a cliff (Dessers, Barron, Tav, Butland, Igamane.........).

Not sure, but I would hasard a guess that our upturn on my xG chart corresponds to when they played together.

Watch the first Rangers goal from yesterday again ( the first o.g.)

Hagi gets into a great position to put a delivery into the 6 yard box but where  is the Rangers striker? There is no Rangers player in the 6 yard box

This has been a recurring problem for me this season. Good deliveries into the penalty box and the Rangers striker(s) posted missing. Surely the manager & his staff can see this? My view has always been we need 2 strikers as we’re not good enough to with just the one. Probably Dessers up top and Igamane in a free role behind

Our two strikers aren’t physical enough easier stopped than a clock
