[FT] Hearts 1 - 3 Rangers (McCart o.g. 20, 73; Cerny 61)

After watching the latest installment in the Rangers fiasco I’ve come to the conclusion that we have to rid the team of most of these useless foreigners they simply don’t have the heart to play for Rangers despite getting well paid let’s recruit British players at least they will have the heart for a football battle.

Apologies Compo but I disagree. This isn't the 90s. Most of the players we have shifted recently have been British players who were far from up for the battle. Matondo, Davies, Dowelled, Wright et all. Celtic have built their success on a team littered with foreigners and a couple of Scots. It can be done.

If we play well and lose, we're shite.  If we play shite and win, we're shite.  If we play well and draw we're shite.  If we play shite and draw we're shite.

Maybe the rules have changed, but the team that has the most goals wins the last time I looked.  I'd take 38 shite wins all day long.

I didn’t see it but I heard we got the usual kris boyd criticism after the game & aimed at Clement as usual.

Whilst I myself sometimes have some reservations about his team selections & tactics is it not generally accepted that without significant investment in the playing squad there is very little anyone else could do to get more out of the current squad?

Boyd seems to think we’re on a level playing field  with the yahoos who have spent considerably more than us and have got themselves a bigger and better squad.

And if we’re downsizing ( especially in the wages) it’s going to be even more difficult for whoever the manager is

I hear what you are saying but yesterday was a bizarre way to win, no way can we rely on 2 own goals every week and the keeper keeping us in it at 0-0.

There's a complete denial amongst some of our fans regards our financial position versus theirs, the gap is way, way bigger than it was even in their biscuit tin days. And the avenues open to us to close that gap are disappearing.

55 masked it for a bit, due to us having a brilliant season, and them having an absolute retard as a manager.

I loved Boyd as a player, but I avoid listening to him as a pundit, he's a roaster.

Agreed chaps, Boyd drives me bonkers. He seems to have a personal agenda.

We all want more effort and more attractive football. However we still have a far bigger budget than the other 10 league clubs and there is no excuse for being so poor away from home at St Mirren, Motherwell, Dundee etc.

Inevitable goal comes. Both Soutter and Nsiala to slow to attack the corner

Our defending at set pieces is a disaster. Clement was supposed to be an expert at defending corners. it certainly doesn't show on the park.
