The kind of signing we need, young, hungry, wants to be here and great stats. Everyone focuses on certain strikers goal numbers, but we badly need goals from the midfield IMHO. He averages a goal every 4 games, we should be able to give him the platform to improve on those already impressive numbers.

... truth be told, I cannot really understand, why we took it to the last day of the window. He'll rot on their bench now and get no end of bother from the retards in their support. Possibly out of football till next July/August. Thus, why not put that down in the first week of January and see whether Dundee would accept cash right now? With a few weeks to spare to think about it?

I doubt this will be this case, he's one of their key players, I'm not sure they're in a position where they can just drop a player out of spite. It is Scottish football though so you could be right

Sounds excessive. Didn't Kamara cost only £50k, or was his situation different?

My understanding is if we took him now we would have to pay much more compensation.

Different. We'd need to pay a development fee similar to Barron.
